Application of Non-Destructive Testing, Common Methods, in Mechanical Engineering in Viet Nam

Abstract

Non-destructive testing (NDT) is becoming an essential technology in
the industry. In the chain of quality control related products, there is no
lack of NDT methods. This report covers six popular NDT methods in
Vietnam, including Visual Testing VT, Magnetic Particle Testing MT,
Ultrasound (Radiography Testing RT) Ultrasonic Testing UT, Liquid
Penetrant Testing PT, Eddy Current Testing ECT, it describes the
concepts, advantages and disadvantages and the application of these
methods to each specialized in mechanical engineering. This shows the
role, importance and contribution of NDT in mechanical engineering
