Studying the effect of welding parameters on tensile strength and geometry size of electroslag pressure weld joint applied in construction mechanical engineering
Abstract
The paper presents the results of empirical research and mathematicalmodeling calculation of the influence of three main technological parameters
of electroslag pressure welding (welding current, welding time and welding
pressure) to the tensile strength, geometry size and microstructure of the butt
joints of reinforced steel construction in accordance with the three-factor 3-
element (N27) orthogonal planning. The obtained mathematical model served
as basis for determining the suitable control domain of welding mode to
ensure the required performance of load bearing structures.
