Abstract

The power of increasingly distributed grid-connected generators poses the need for a change in the structure of the converter. Multilevel converter technology has emerged recently as a very important alternative in the area of high-power medium-voltage energy aplication. This paper studies the AC-DC-AC-AC multi-level with high frequency isolation. The converter has the ability to dynamically connect distributed power sources of different origin, ensuring isolation, ensuring the ability to exchange active power and transmit reactive power, ensuring reliability, reliable and easy to extend system. The focus of this paper is on determining the parameters for the current, voltage and power loops. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed alternatives.
