ISOLATION AND DETERMINATION OF STRUCTURE OF CHEMICAL COMPOSITION FROM FALLOPIA MULTIFLORA (POLYGONUM MULTIFLORUM)
Abstract
Phytochemical investigation of the methanol fraction of Polygonum multiflorum led to the isolation of four compounds, include reveratrol (1), catechine (2), 2,3,5,4′-tetrahydroxystilbene 2-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (3) và benzyl 7-O-[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside] (4). The structures were elucidated by spechoscopic methods including ESI-MS and NMR. These compounds belong to the phenolic and carry many precious activities of Polygonum multiflorum.
