FUZZY LOGIC-BASED SPEED CONTROLLER IN MULTI THREE-PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR

Abstract

This paper presents a motion controller used for synchronizing multi three-phase induction motors. Fuzzy logic controller with two input variables (speed error and change of speed error) has been utilized to be part of the complete control system to implement a speed controller for three-phase induction motor. Master/Slave technique has been adopted in system, the former motor’s speed is the reference for the latter’s. A voltage source PWM inverter with ratio V/f constant is utilized in each motion drive. The proposed system has been validated by Matlab/Simulink, the simulation results showed its validity.
