DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF TIMOSHENKO BEAMS UNDER MOVING MANY LOADS AND THE EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE BY THE FINITE ELEMENT METHOD (FEM)

Abstract

The article studies the dynamic behavior of Timoshenko beams based on
finite element method which builds the element formula FEM for Timmoshenko
beam under moving harmonic load with three nodal displacement. The
calculated results show dynamic behavior of beam under action of moving
harmonic many loads, which are compared with Bernoulli beams. Timoshenko
beams which used FEM method has been researched by many authors, but the
difference of the article is the way to construct the FEM directly from the
principle of minimum energy with the selection of Kosmatka shape function
based on the characteristics of the beam.
