Abstract

The article focuses on the training institutions, methods, and the models of teacher education as well as the system of teachers’ professional competencies responding to the requirements of radically and comprehensively innovating Vietnam’s education and training, the basic issues related to training and developing teachers’ competencies and the specific tasks of the teacher education units, of the education management agencies and schools in training and developing teachers’ competencies.
