Đánh giá tiềm năng và thực trạng phát triển du lịch biển tại quần đảo Nam Du, huyện Kiên Hải, tỉnh Kiên Giang

Abstract

The study aims to assess the potential and currenf status of coastal tourism in the Nam Du archipelago and to propose some solutions for the development of  Nam Du coastal tourism for economic efficilency. The research uses qualitative research methodology through field surveys in Nam Du archipelago, interviewing local people, and collecing secondary data from the People’s Commitee of Nam Du Commune. The research results indicate that Nam Du has many favorable natural conditions such as beautiful natural scenery, calm waves, white sand and good sunshine which can develop sea tourism. In addition, the place also preserves spiritual customs of coastal residents, has traditional local festivals and many historical-cultural relics that attract tourists. However, the concerned issues for this place are spontaneous marine tourism, household garbage, visitors’s trash and fresh wafer
