Abstract

An Giang is a province located in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam is widely known for its cultural diversity of the four ethnic groups including Kinh, Hoa, Khmer and Cham (to Islam). In it, there are Islamic Cham culture identity values characteristic of Arab culture from when entering Vietnam. However, empirical studies show that Cham people not only preserve the cultural elements of Cham Muslims from generation to generation within the community but also received the Vietnam cultural factons in the process of living on the land of An Giang.
