Abstract

ASEAN Economic Community established in late of the year 2015 has created a free zone movement of economic resources, including human resources. Vietnam Human resources has many strengths and it also faces many challenges especially in terms of quality, challenges of being continue to increase when compared with many countries represented by high-quality human resources in ASEAN. From the fact that, by means of a SWOT analysys on the basis of data mostly from the International Labour Organization and the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, the article has proposed measures to improve the competitiveness of Vietnam human resources in the context of establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community on the basis of exploiting the strengths as well as restraining the weaknesses, taking advantage of opportunities and coping with the challenges posed.
