Diversifying the promotion of information - library services to improve students’ reading culture at Ha Tinh University

Abstract

     Reading culture and its development are of great concern to the society, especially to the students. Science and technology advancements and the rapid development of Internet have dramatically impacted lives, access to resources, and students' reading culture. The article presents overview on different methods to promote information - library activities with an aim to improve reading culture of students at Ha Tinh University, such as organizing Book Reading Day, Contest on thematic book presentation, student forums on reading culture, user conferences, information capacity training courses for users, information and information resources sharing via email.
