Library in the era of Industry 4.0

Abstract

     The article introduces key features of Industry 4.0 that directly impact information-library activities, including: Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data. The article also compares the development of library in different industrial revolutions by outlining the activity model of library and its typical products and services in each period. It also analyzes fundamental characteristics of the information resources in Industry 4.0, especially the complex data relationships of the component documents of Big Data in order to establish the algorithm to solve problems related to bibliometric, scientific assessment...
