Abstract

Culture and language relate closely and are inseparable. Language is a mean to express culture and culture is contained in language. Language and culture always show characteristics of each community, each country. All countries have their laughter, humour and jokes. However, laughter, humour and jokes of countries have different nuances. This article refers to a number of language means that make humour in English jokes to discover unique characteristics of language and culture of this country.
