Abstract

Tagore (1861 - 1941) was an outstanding talent in Indian literature of the twentieth century. He invented on many genres, including fiction. R. Tagore’s novel belonged to introverted tendencies. This article has examined, analyzed and generalized some outstanding aspects in the structure of a novel inward R. Tagore (looking inward; organizing plot, inward situations; using interior monologue and conscious flow). From there, readers may identify novel style of R. Tagore and his contribution to the process of modernization of Indian novels in the early twentieth century
