IMPROVING LIFE SKILLS FOR SECONDARY STUDENTS THROUGH FOREIGN LITERATURE TEACHING

Abstract

Educating life skills for students plays an important role in modern society. Being aware of this, the education branch has integrated life skills into the subjects at shool and has received the attention of the whole society. Foreign literature not only has new and attractive content to students, but also gives beneficial experiences to their life. However, developing life skills through teaching and learning foreign literature still faces a lot of difficulties and challenges. In order to improve the efficiency of teaching, learning as well as stimulating students’ love for foreign literature, some recommendations and suggestions on using foreign literature to train the life skills for secondary students will be presented in the article
