FOREIGN LITERATURE AT HIGH SCHOOL TO THE REQUIREMENT OF VIETNAM EDUCATIONAL REFORMATION

Abstract

Radical and comprehensive renovation of education and training has become an urgent requirement of current practice, consent and response of society. However some unanswerable questions are: How to make innovations? What is the basic principle for innovation? What need to be done to make innovations? From this perspective, the article analyzes, explains some issues, such as teaching and training objectives of foreign literature in high school, the actual situations of teaching foreign literature at high schools and its causes. In consequence, a number of solutions to fundamental innovation, improving the quality of teaching, learning foreign literature in high schools, such as program structure, teacher training, assessment and test of students’ learning results are proposed in the article.
