USING THE ITERATIVE APPROXIMATION METHOD TO CALCULATE THE DISSOCIATION CONSTANTS OF CITRIC ACID IN AQUEOUS SOLUTION FROM EXPERIMENTAL pH VALUE
Abstract
The paper has presented an iteration approximation method based on the least squares algorithm to calculate the dissociation constants of citric acid in aqueous solution through different systems: polyprotic acid system, polyprotic base system and buffer systems. The values of equilibrium constants of citric acid which were determined from experimental data are in a very good agreement with publicized documents. The programme has been written with the PASCAL language.
