ASSESSMENT OF CADIMIUM, LEAD CONTAMINATION IN SOIL, WATER AND VEGETABLES AT INDUSTRIAL SPOT IN DONG THAP COMMUNE, DAN PHUONG DISTRICT, HA NOI

Abstract

     The samples of soil, water, vegetables, plant leaves were collected at surrounding
area of an industrial spot in Dong Thap commune, Dan Phuong district, Ha Noi. The
content of two heavy metals as Cd and Pb was quantitatively determined by using
Electro-Thermal Atomization Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (ETA-AAS). The
analytical results showed that content of Cd and Pb in these mentioned-above samples
arround the industrial spot was almost lower than that of the limit required by
Vietnam's standard systems (QCVN 08-MT:2015/BTNMT and QCVN
03:2008/BTNMT). The correlation analysis of Cd and Pb content in all samples was
calculated by multivariate analysis and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA).
