DETERMINATION OF STRUCTURE AND PURITY OF TADALAFIL DRUG BY MODERN PHYSICOCHEMICAL METHODS
Abstract
Tadalafil is used to treat male erectile dysfunction. It belongs to phosphordieterase type-5 inhibitor (PDE5) class and inhibits cGMP specific PDE5 which is responsible for degradation of cGMP in the corpus cavernosum located around the penis. In this article, the spectrometry analysis to identify the structures and purity of tadalafil has been carried out. The results determined that 97.5% of the sample products containing tadalafil.
