STUDY ON PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF PVDF/GO-BASED NANOCOMPOSITE MEMBRANE

Abstract
The nano composite of polyvinylidene fluoride doped with graphene oxide (PVDF/GO) was synthesized and characterized. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) characterization showed that the doped composite films were composed by uniformed nano fibers with average diameter of 300-500nm as the concentration of PVDF ranged from 14% wt to16% wt. Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy analysis confirmed that GO introduces more β-phase in the composite.
