Abstract
More than 40 tea samples were collected from 2 different regions in Lam Dong Province and the content of the rare earth elements (REEs) in those samples was investigated. The concentrations of ultratrace REEs in tea samples were accurately determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The obtained results showed that the total rare earth oxides (total REOs) in Cau Dat tea samples was higher than those in Bao Loc tea samples. The average concentration of total REOs in Cau Dat tea samples was 0.52mg/kg with the concentration range from 0.30 to 1.41 mg/kg-dryThe average concentration of total REOs in Bao Loc tea samples was 0.39mg/kg with the concentration range from 0.17 to 0.84 mg/kg-dry.
