STUDY ON THE PROCESS OF ANALYSIS OF SYNTHETIC DRUGS MA, MDMA IN THE HAIR SAMPLES BY GC-MS

Abstract

    In this paper the process of analysis of MA, MDMA in the hair samples by GC-MSmethod has been studied. The pretreatment has been done on a C8 column. Thesensitivity of the method was improved with the creation of derivatives of syntheticdrugs with HFBA derivatives. To increase the accuracy and selectivity of the method,the internal standard procedure using MA-d5 has also been studied. Process analysishas been successfully applied to the analysis of hair samples which has containedconcentrations of MA in the range of 0.15 to 22.48 ng/ml and MDMA in the range of0.067 to 22.43 ng/ml.
