SYNTHESES AND STUDY ON CHARACTERIZATION OF 2-HIĐROXYNICOTINATE OF Eu (III), Gd (III) COMPLEXES AND THEIR MIXED COMPLEXES WITH O-PHENANTROLIN

Abstract

    The 2-hyđroxynicotinat of Eu(III) and Gd(III) and their mixed complexes with ophenantrolinhave been synthesized. The characteristics of these complexes havebeen performed by IR, elemental analysis, thermal analysis and mass-spectroscopymethods. The coordination modes of the ligands to Ln(III) centres (Ln(III): Eu(III),Gd(III)) have been investigated by IR spectra. Mass-spectroscopy showed that thecomplexes are monomes. TG- curves indicate that the complexes are less heatstable.The thermal separation of the complexes were supposed as follows:
