Abstract
This study focuses on phenol oxidation activity of CaO-CuO-CeO2 catalystssynthesized by the impregnation method. The obtained solids were characterized by XrayDiffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The phenoloxidation was tested at low temperature (70-80oC) and at the atmospheric pressure. The results showed that, the material with the molar ratio of Cu/Ca+Cu+Ce=0.15,Ca/Ca+ Cu+Ce=0.075; calcined at 600oC for 1h was sufficient for maximum activity(94.96% conversion of phenol).
