Abstract
In this article, the procedure for analyzing U and Th in soil by inductively coupledplasma mass spectrometry ICP-MS has been studies. In which, the investigation ofoptimal conditions of instrument, digestion process and evaluating the quality of theprocedure by analyzing standard sample Soil-7 of IAEA were carried out. Theconcentrations of U and Th in soil samples of Da Lat city were determined byapplying this procedure.The analytical result showed that the concentrations of Th arehigher than the concentrations of U in all soil samples of Da Lat city and the ratio of235U/UTotal is about 0,7%.
