Abstract

This paper focus on the adsorption of Mn(II), Ni(II) in aqueous solution on the material madefrom iron nitrate, silicate and photsphate. Some physicochemistry properties of the materialhave been determined by BET, SEM, XRD and IR method. The experiments were conductedusing the following parameters: quilibrium time is 180 minutes for Mn(II), 210 minutes forNi(II); adsorbent mass is 0.1g; pH is 3.5 - 5.0 for Mn(II), 5.0 for Ni(II). Adsorption capacityfor each metal was found as 17.56mg/g for Mn(II) and 18.48mg/g for Ni(II) at 250C,respectively. The result indicates that, Ca2+, Zn2+ and Al3+ ions in research solution reduceMn(II), Ni(II) adsorption capacity of the material.
