STUDY ON PRODUCTION OF 177Lu AT DALAT NUCLEAR RESEARCH RECTOR PART 2: STUDY ON DISTRIBUTION AND ELIMINATION OF 177Lu -EDTMP PHARMACEUTICAL IN ANIMALS (WHITE MOUSE AND RABBIT)

Abstract

    Ethylene-Diamine-Tetramethylene-Phosphonic acid [EDTMP] labeled with 177Lu forming 177Lu-EDTMP has been preparated in Nuclear Research Institute. Study on distribution andelimination of 177Lu -EDTMP pharmaceutical in animal (white mouse and rabbit) carried outin the Center for Research and Preparation of Radioisotopes, Nuclear Research Institute andHospital 175 of army in Ho Chi Minh city. The received results showed that 177Lu-EDTMP concentrated in bone (>80%) and eliminated from blood after 5,4 days.
