STRUCTURAL STUDY OF LANTAN(III) COMPLEX WITH NAPHTHOYLTRIFLUOROACETONE AND 2,2’ BIPYRIDINE

Abstract

    A tetrakis lantan(III) complex La(TFNB)3Bpy has been synthesized, in which TFNB is 4,4,4-tri- fluoro-1(2-naphthyl)-1,3-butanedionate and Bpy is 2,2 bipyridin. Its crystallo structurewas successfully determined and investigated. X-ray crystallo graphic analysis reveals thatthis complex is mononuclear structure formed by there TFNB ligands with one Bpy ligand andone lanthanide ion.
