DETERMINATION OF EQUILIBRIUM CONSTANTS OF FOMIC AXIT FROM EXPERIMENTAL PH VALUE USING ITERATIVE APPROXIMATION METHOD
Abstract
Acid dissociation constants of fomic acid were determined from pH values of potentiometric titration combined with an iterative approximation method using the least squares algorithm (with addition of ionic strength effect). The result shows a good correlation between experimentally determined pKa values and the values made publicly in reference material. The programme was written in Pascal language.
