Abstract

Soil washingwith a solution of surface-active substances is a technology that does not use heat promises high efficiency in treatment ofAgent Orange/Dioxin contaminationin soil in Vietnam. But the downside of this approach is the need to process for retreatmentwith wash solution. There are many methods that can be used to treat this solution, but the method used advanced oxidizing agents such as Fenton/UV, Fe-TAML catalyst is promising methods to achieve high efficiency. This paper presents the research results decomposition 2,4-D, 2,4,5-T, DCP, TCP in the surfactant solution obtained from washing of agent orange / dioxin contamination in soil by reaction agents: Fenton, Fenton/UV, Fe (III) -TAML/H2O2 catalytic systems. Thereby making the suitable method to treat liquid obtained from washing of agent orange/dioxin contamination in soil.
