DEVELOPMENT AND EXPERIMENT OF THE WIND AUTOMATIC MEASURING SYSTEM

Abstract

The needs for hydrometeorological monitoring automation in general and wind monitoring in particular for forecasting floods and warning natural disastersand other hazardous weather phenomena are getting more and more urgent in the rapidly changed context of climate change. Meeting the demand of the real time data of wind observation station provided to the forecast model is an urgent task. This article aims to present the current situation of wind monitoring devices/appliances/equipment used in hydrometeological services. It also offers active modeling, and piloting an wind monitoring automation technology for natural disaster prevention.
