WATER BALANCE CALCULATION IN CURRENT STATUS AND THE CONTEXT OF CLIMATE CHANGE IN QUANG NAM PROVINCE

Abstract

This paper deals for water balance calculation in Quang Nam province. Present (2015 and 1986-2005) in case, discharge input data that restored by MIKE NAM model was calibrated and tested model parameters quite well, water use of households data were based on Statistical Yearbook Quang Nam province in 2015. From which, applied the model parameters to the water balance calculations in 2015, 1986-2005 and Socio-economic development scenario until 2025, vision 2030 affected by climate change, the result show that water shortage focus on dry seasion month and increasing day by day. According to the calculation results, the average period of 1986-2005 the amount of water shortage was 141,237 million m³; the impact of climate change, the amount of water shortage increased by 6% to 34%.
