Applying WHO Anthro software to evaluating and monitoring the physical development of preschool children

Abstract

Abstract: Nowadays, preschool teachers and the people, who are in charge of educating often use growth charts to evaluate and monitor the physical development of children. This method is easy to apply but teachers have to manipulate manually and it is difficult to synthesize. WHO Anthro, which has developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) in order to assess, monitor and manage children's physical development in accordance with their standards. It can overcome the disadvantages of the growth chart method. This article  proposes the application of the WHO Anthro software for the assessment, monitoring and management of physical development of preschool children.
