Building the scale to assess prospective primary teachers’ self-directed learning capacity

Abstract

Abstract:  Self-directed learning capacity is one of the core competencies in the new era. In order to evaluate this competence, it is necessary to have a scale with specific expressions. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a scale to assess prospective primary teachers’ self-directed learning capacity with the desire to contribute to the development of self-taught ability and improve learning efficiency for them after identified the foundations, designing the process and self-directed learning capacity framework.
