Designing experiential activities towards the development of creative competency for students in teaching Body Biology section of Biology grade 11

Abstract

Abstract: The task of teaching biology at high school is to develop not only biological competency but also other common competencies including creative competency for students. Using experiential activities in teaching biology offers an environment for promoting the student’s creative competency. This paper proposes a process of building experiential activities in teaching biology toward the development of creative competency. The obtained process has been applied for teaching the topic “Water and mineral exchange in plants” of body biology section.
