Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to assess the current situation of managing the coordination between schools and families in taking care and teaching children at non-public preschools in District 11, Ho Chi Minh City. Findings show that managers, teachers and young parents were fully aware of the meaning and necessary of this activity. Preschools have focused on managing coordination activities between schools and families in teaching children. However, this activity had certain limitations such as: The human resources for management force was thin; The content, form and method of coordination were not diversified; Manage and evaluate the results of coordination were apart from reality; The conditions of support did not meet the requirement of the reality. Based on the results of this study, the article proposed some recommendations to improve the effectiveness of management of coordination activities between schools and families in taking care and teaching students in non-public preschools.
