The status of interventions for children with autism at supporting centers for inclusive education development in Ho Chi Minh city

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to evaluate the status of interventions for autistic children in Ho Chi Minh City's centers for inclusive education development. The findings show that most managers and teachers were aware of the importance of interventions for autistic children; Interventions for autistic children in Ho Chi Minh City's centers for inclusive education development have focused on variety of contents with different approaches in interventions. However, there were still many respondents who were not fully aware of the role of interventions for autistic children. Some important contents and intervention methods have not been applied. Findings from this study suggest some strategies to improve the quality of interventions for children with autism in Ho Chi Minh City's inclusive education development centers.
