Current situation of education skills for students in Vinh Cuu district schools, Dong Nai province

Abstract

Abstract: To understand the current status of teaching life skills for students in primary schools in Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province, the author conducted a survey among 268 managers, teachers and students at three primary schools: Kim Dong, Song May, and Cay Gao A. Findings show that the activities of teaching life skills for students initially achieved positive results in terms of content, form and methods. However, there were still some limitations related to the awareness and skills that need to be educated for students. Some strategies are discussed and suggested in the paper to improve the quality of teaching life skills activities for students in primary schools in Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province.
