Abstract

Over the past time, Vietnam's financial market has had a positive development and gradually approached international standards, the competition of financial service providers in a healthier direction, financial consumers’ interests is focused and better protected. However, the rapid growth of financial services and the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic have led to an increase in unfair competition practices in some areas, with many sophisticated complicated developments, affecting the rights and interests of financial consumers. In that context, the issue of protecting financial consumers becomes urgent.
