Abstract

Over the past years, Vietnam's financial services market has made strong progress, playing an important role in stabilizing the macro-economy, improving the economy's competitiveness and promoting sustainable economic development. However, the financial sector in general and the financial services market in particular are being strongly influenced by the digital economy trend, especially the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Therefore, effectively capturing, utilizing and exploiting the scientific and technical achievements of digital technology in supporting the management and development of the safe, efficient and transparent financial service market in recent years has always been of special interest to the Government and the Ministry of Finance. This is even more important in the context that the Ministry of Finance is currently developing a Financial Strategy for the period 2021-2030.
