Abstract

The implementation of public investment in the period 2016-2020 has achieved positive results, creating a driving force to promote development and spread throughout the economy. However, reality shows that there is still waste, low quality of works, slow disbursement of public investment, leading to delay in putting the works into use, thereby affecting the ripple effects of these resources. In the period of 2021-2025, Vietnam needs to continue to accelerate the implementation of the tasks of restructuring public investment, speeding up the disbursement speed and improving the efficiency of public investment, considering this an important task to take full advantage of opportunities, create a premise for economic development, clearly transform the growth model, and bring the country to development in a new context.
