Abstract

In the context that the growth engine is gradually exhausted and inefficient, the rapid development of the digital economy shall give Vietnam more opportunities to improve the overall labor productivity of the economy. In this article, the authors clarify the opportunities and challenges for Vietnam's goal of increasing labor productivity in the context of the digital transformation of the economy and the Industrial Revolution 4.0. From that, some suggestions and recommendations are made to help promote the overall labor productivity of the Vietnamese economy in the context of the digitalization of the economy.
