THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT TO INCREASE THE COMPETITIVENESS OF VIETNAM

Abstract

Foreign direct investment plays an important role in increasing competitiveness of nations, especially developing countries such as Vietnam. The research will generalize about the competitiveness of foreign direct investment field in Vietnam and show the contributions of foreign direct investment in the competitiveness of Vietnam from 1995 to 2017, then find out the limitations and propose solutions to improve the efficiency of foreign direct investment into the national competitiveness of Vietnam.
