CULTURAL WORDS AND TEACHING CULTURAL WORDS (THROUGH THE TEXTBOOK SERIES CHINESE COURSE)
Abstract
In teaching foreign languages, cultural factors need to be taught in parallel with language factors. In fact, if only the language factor is present, learners will have difficulty achieving effective communication. Yang Jizhou's Chinese Course integrates many cultural words containing cultural elements, requiring teachers to use appropriate measures to help learners understand and use cultural words in each lesson. The article applies research methods such as surveying the current situation, statistics, analysis, pointing out the characteristics of cultural words in the textbook, and on that basis, offers solutions to exploit cultural words effectively. Hopefully, this article contributes to improving the effectiveness of teaching cultural words in Chinese in particular and teaching foreign languages in general.
