University governance: a key issue to implement the autonomy right of Vietnam's higher education institutions in the integration period

Abstract

     Since renovation (Doi Moi) in 1986, Vietnam's education system has gained remarkable achievements. To meet the requirements for industrialization, modernization and international integration in the new context, the 13rd National Assembly of Vietnam enacted the Law on higher education. This paper focuses on university goyernance in public universities to implement the rights to the university autonomy.
