Abstract
Students of Advanced Program (AP) are said to be one of the most important factors that
make the institution come alive because they are considered to be the leading and most representative ones among the students trained at Banking Academy of Vietnam (BAV) and they are expected to be high qualified students in local and international labor market. In AP student’s learning, English plays an extremely important part because all of their specialized subjects are taught in English. Therefore, it is urgent to conduct a research of assessing AP students’ English learning satisfaction (ELS). The research mainly determines the factors affecting their satisfactions and how big each factor is with questionnaires as the research instrument. SPSS software version 20.0 was used to treat the data using Cronbach’s Alpha coefficients and EFA with KMO, Bartlett’s Test and Eigenvalue for reliability and inter-item correlation of the items. 199 valid answers from the second-year students of AP were used for data analysis. Research results show that there are 4 factors impacting their ELS including Lecturers, Training Program, Tuition Fee and Facilities in descending order. Lecturers has the most impact on AP students’ ELS and the students are strongly satisfied with Lecturers but they are only satisfied with Training Program, Tuition Fee and Facilities. And there is no difference in the sample groups. Based on the research results, some recommendations have been made to meet the students’ ELS at the highest level and improve the training quality more perfectly.
