Obligation to disclose information of listed companies on Vietnam’s securities market
Abstract
Determining the importance of information on the stock market, the securities law in Vietnam has regulations governing information disclosure to ensure publicity and transparency, to create conditions for the sustainable development of the stock market. For listed companies in Vietnam, accurate and timely information disclosure is an obligation to comply with when conducting activities on the market. However, violations of these obligations of listed enterprises in Vietnam still exist nowadays. By analyzing the legal overview, through data and reports on the violation of information disclosure obligations of listed companies, the authors focus on assessing the practice of obligations on disclosing information of listed companies in Vietnam over the past time, thereby offer some solutions to improve the efficiency of information disclosure obligations of enterprises listed on the Vietnamese securities market.
