Challenges in applying Big Data for the Vietnam commercial banks

Abstract

Data has an important influence on the business operations of each commercial bank. Commercial banks expect that the appearance of Big Data in the context of the digital era is a huge resource that can provide a multidimensional view to help banks make informed decisions. However, applying Big Data is difficult for commercial banks in Vietnam. The study discusses the application status and fundamental challenges of Big Data to commercial banks in Vietnam and recommends solutions.
