Occupational accidents cause serious loss of health and human life, affecting income, the economy, and the life of workers and their families. Occupational accidents also affect the development of companies and businesses as well as affect the economy and sustainable development of countries. Therefore, the prevention of occupational accidents is an urgent issue that countries around the world, including Vietnam, need to implement. With the spirit of "prevention is better than cure", social work activities need to pay attention to preventing social problems from arising with specific solutions for each object, helping them not to fall into a bad situation. Through the implementation of activities such as communication to raise awareness about occupational accidents, education on occupational accident prevention, connection with occupational accident prevention services, and policy advice on the prevention of occupational accidents, social workers show their role in supporting the prevention of occupational accidents, contributing to ensuring safety and social security for employees.
