Preventing and coping with climate changes based on community in Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh city

Abstract

    Coping with climate changes based on community is one of the long-term andsustainable approaches to address the multifaceted vulnerability caused by this process tothe community. This article analyzes experimental data from a survey of 614representative of families, who live in Can Gio, Ho Chi Minh City showing that the mostpopular adaptation measure is coordinated steering between family and local government.Major measure coping is being implemented for short term, such as repairing and theprevention of housing, while long-term sustainable measures such as changingoccupations, and changing production habits are still limitedprocessing.
